Basketball Recap: South Adams Comes Up Short

South Adams was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were dealt a 65-36 loss at the hands of the Jay County Patriots. The Starfires were probably out for revenge after losing 67-39 to them when the teams met back in December of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

South Adams' defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Jay County, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-5.

South Adams and Parkway will round out the year against one another at at 7:30 p.m. on December 30th. As for Jay County, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Pendleton Heights at 7:30 p.m. on January 2, 2025.
