Volleyball Recap: Mundelein Snags 19th Win in Last 21 Games

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Mundelein had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Highland Park Giants by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in April.

Mundelein has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 19 of their last 21 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-4 record this season. As for Highland Park, their loss dropped their record down to 22-15.

Looking ahead, Mundelein is taking a road trip to face off against New Trier at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Trevians will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight. Highland Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
