Alchesay posted their closest victory since March 25, 2025 on Tuesday. They won by a run and slipped past the Holbrook Roadrunners 3-2. The game was the first time the Falcons have beaten the Roadrunners on their field since April 20, 2021.

Chez Massey made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed 6.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off eight hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March of 2025. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Massey wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Japeth Henry, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

The win made it two in a row for Alchesay and bumps their season record up to 4-5. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for Holbrook, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Alchesay will have a chance to go back-to-back against Holbrook: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
