Baseball Recap: Pearl City Chargers vs. 'Aiea Na Alii
Pearl City was the 3-2 winner over 'Aiea when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Pearl City Chargers fell just short of the 'Aiea Na Alii by a score of 9-8 on Thursday.
Logan Honma and Ian Wicklund did some serious damage despite the final result: Honma scored three runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances, while Wicklund went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI Wicklund has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jayson Au Hoy, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double.
