League recap: Hornberger dominating on the mound for North Schuylkill

Schuylkill County 1's top pitcher this week was Austin Hornberger. He won two games and struck out 20 batters.

Blue Mountain (10-10, 7-5) has won four games in a row, the league's longest active win streak. Two of those wins came in the past week, including a 6-1 victory over Danville and a 6-1 win over Danville. Jake Cryts led the lineup this week with two hits and one RBI.

the Eagles continue to give up the least hits to opposing lineups this season, after surrendering only eight in the past week. For the entire year, the Eagles have given up only 108 base hits.

Matthew Roberts led the league with six hits this week for Tamaqua. On the season, he's hitting .349 and ranks sixteenth in the league with 15 hits.
