Football Recap: Southeast Polk Piles Up the Points Against Ottumwa

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dowling Catholic, Southeast Polk was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They breezed past the Ottumwa Bulldogs to the tune of 70-6. That looming 70-6 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Rams yet this season.

Southeast Polk now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Ottumwa, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Southeast Polk will head out to take on Iowa City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rams will be up against the Little Hawks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 35 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Ottumwa, they will head out on the road to face off against Northwest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
