Chisholm Trail had won three straight games and Kaden Richardson did his part to make it four on Friday. The Chisholm Trail Rangers took their matchup with ease, bagging a 63-25 win over the Azle Hornets thanks in part to Richardson, who went 9 for 14 from beyond the arc to rack up 29 points and four steals. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 45.2% field goal percentage.

The team also got some help courtesy of Jalen Thomas, who posted eight points and five boards. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in assists (two).

Despite the defeat, Azle saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Cason Cook went 5 of 11 en route to 13 points.

Chisholm Trail's victory bumped their record up to 21-8. As for Azle, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-24.
