Softball Recap: Mahtomedi Comes Up Short

Mahtomedi had lost three straight at home, but on Monday they dropped their record down to 6-14 to make it four. They fell just short of the St. Anthony Village Huskies by a score of 10-9. That's two games in a row now that the Zephyrs have lost by just one run.

As for St. Anthony Village, their victory ended a nine-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-18. The high-scoring effort was just what they needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

For St. Anthony Village's part, Caitlyn Rosha was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Those three RBI gave Rosha a new career-high. Scarlett Cannon was another key player, going 3-for-5 with two runs and one RBI.

As of now, neither Mahtomedi nor St. Anthony Village have any future games scheduled.
