Football Recap: Alberton Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Alberton's offense. They took a blow against the Lincoln Lynx on Friday, falling 69-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 88-7 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Kayden Riddle had an outrageously good game for Lincoln as he threw for 192 yards and four touchdowns on only nine passes, and also rushed for 52 yards and one score. Riddle didn't just play on offense: he also picked up 0.5 sacks and made ten total tackles (2.0 for loss) in addition to snagging an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown. Dylan Jakushak also helped with two TDs in total.

Alberton's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Alberton has already played their next contest (against Heart Butte), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Lincoln, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 54-38 win against Power/Dutton-Brady on the 19th.
