Basketball Recap: Vista Del Lago Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Vista del Lago, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They strolled past the Bella Vista Broncos with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 59-45. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Several Broncos players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jonah Wooden, who posted six points and three steals. Cael Bird was another key player, putting up eight points and five rebounds.

Vista del Lago's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 12-8. As for Bella Vista, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.

Vista del Lago has already played their next game (against Tokay), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Bella Vista and Del Campo will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
