They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 52-13 win over Wasatch Academy. With Merit Preparatory Academy ahead 28-4 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Merit Preparatory Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lizbeth Diaz, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ayla Coltharp, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds.
Merit Preparatory Academy's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-12.
