Baseball Recap: Hilliard Darby Wins Going Away Against Dublin Jerome

After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Hilliard Darby brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. Everything went their way against the Dublin Jerome Celtics on Friday as they made off with a 10-3 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Panthers have posted against the Celtics since April 26, 2023.

Caleb Boff made a splash while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over six innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Hilliard Darby is 2-1 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 1-2 otherwise. Boff was also big at the plate, going 2-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That triple was his first of the season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Josh Bowzer, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.
