Volleyball Recap: Kim/Branson Comes Up Short

Kim/Branson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Swallows Charter Academy Spartans.

Kim/Branson was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Swallows Charter Academy work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-12, 27-25.

Swallows Charter Academy found their leader in sophomore Riley James, who had 16 digs. James has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more digs the last four times she's played.

Kim/Branson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Swallows Charter Academy, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-7.

As of now, neither Kim/Branson nor the Spartans have any future games scheduled.
