Orlando Science suffers seventh straight loss on the road

The Orlando Science Orcas's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their seventh straight loss. They fell 64-53 to Crooms Academy. If Orlando Science hoped to take revenge for the 54-26 loss against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.

When it comes to explaining why Orlando Science lost, one person who can't be blamed is Glen Wickersham. Despite the final result, he scored 22 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wickersham has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Kenneth Reyes, who scored nine points along with 15 rebounds.

Crooms Academy found their leader in underclassman Jayden Aristile, who scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. Aristile is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games he's played. Tyrell Johnson was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.

Orlando Science dropped their record down to 4-11 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Crooms Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 7-8.

Orlando Science's road trip will continue as they head out to face Real Life Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 25th. Hopefully Real Life Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 27 on Tuesday. As for Crooms Academy, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Elite Prep Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th. Elite Prep Academy is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 50.3 points per game.
