The home team had won the previous three meetings between Gardner-Edgerton and Olathe North, and Gardner-Edgerton kept the tradition alive. The Trailblazers were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over the Eagles on Thursday. The Trailblazers not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 1st (when they won 9-0).

The victory got Gardner-Edgerton back to even at 10-10-1. As for Olathe North, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-12.
