Basketball Recap: Holden Takes a Loss

Holden lost against Lafayette County back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Holden Eagles took a blow against the Lafayette County Huskers, falling 73-25. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 512th, while the Huskers are ranked 133rd).

This is the second loss in a row for Holden and nudges their season record down to 4-17. As for Lafayette County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 20-6.

Holden does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lafayette County, they will challenge Crossroads at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
