Volleyball Recap: Rowe Starts Season with Victory on the Road

Rowe had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Pace Vikings. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Vikings, too.

Rowe never let Pace on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-16.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rowe to victory, but perhaps none more so than Leana Palacios, who had five digs and two aces. That's the most aces Palacios has posted since back in September of 2024.

Pace's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Rowe has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against San Benito on the 12th. As for Pace, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Cigarroa on the 15th.
