Basketball Recap: Green Takes a Loss

Green was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by Baruch College and fell 46-18. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Green of the 40-22 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

Green's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Baruch College, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

After both having extra time off, Green and Chelsea will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 4:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025. Green is facing Chelsea at the right time seeing as Chelsea is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Baruch College, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hunter College at 4:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Baruch College has won four straight at home dating back to last season, while Hunter College won four straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
