Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask O'Dea). Everything went their way against the Garfield Bulldogs on Friday as they made off with an 11-1 win. The victory continues a trend for the Fighting Irish in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won six in a row.

O'Dea's win bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Garfield, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-10.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. O'Dea is set to square off against their familiar foe Ingraham at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Fighting Irish 3.8, the Rams 2.2) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Garfield will take on rival Lakeside at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
