Recap: Lisbon Central Golden Knights vs. Harrisville Pirates
After flying high against the Edwards-Knox Cougars on Thursday, the Lisbon Central Golden Knights came back down to earth. Lisbon Central had to suffer through a rough 83-50 loss at the hands of Harrisville. Lisbon Central lost against Harrisville in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 78-62 score last time.
Tanner Sullivan continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Harrisville, scoring 36 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Sullivan has scored at least 25% of Harrisville's points. Another player making a difference was Liam Winters, who scored 12 points.
Lisbon Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Harrisville, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lisbon Central will take on Tupper Lake at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Tupper Lake knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past five matches -- so hopefully Lisbon Central likes a good challenge. Harrisville's road trip will continue as they head out to face Sackets Harbor Central at 7:00 p.m. on December 23rd.
