Baseball Recap: East Jessamine's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak on the Road

East Jessamine dropped their record down to 14-11 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's five-game streak of wins on the road. They fell just short of the Boyle County Rebels by a score of 3-2. The Jaguars were not able to make up for their loss to the Rebels from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

As for Boyle County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games.

For Boyle County's part, Landon Parnass spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on six hits. Parnass has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

Coming up, East Jessamine will look to defend their home field on Friday against Garrard County at 6:00 p.m. As for Boyle County, they will head out to face off against Mercer County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The last three games the Titans have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
