After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Marana, San Tan Foothills was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Desert Sunrise Golden Hawks by a score of 36-24. The matchup marked the Sabercats' most dominant victory of the season so far.

San Tan Foothills got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Alianna Taylor out in front who posted nine points. Another player making a difference was Ahmira Taylor, who put up eight points.

San Tan Foothills' victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Desert Sunrise, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.

San Tan Foothills didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 34-31 defeat against Vista Grande on the 14th. Desert Sunrise has also already played their next match, a 54-35 win against Goldwater on the 17th.
