Baseball Recap: Lewiston Takes a Loss

Lewiston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Post Falls Trojans, falling 11-2. The Bengals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Lewiston saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jayden Estlund, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Lewiston's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Post Falls, their victory ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Lewiston beat Post Falls by a score of 8-3 later that day.
