South Iron entered their tilt with Lesterville on Thursday with eight consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with nine. They never let the Bearcats get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bearcats, too.

South Iron's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-3-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Lesterville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Iron will venture away from home to challenge Clearwater at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lesterville, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bunker at 4:00 p.m. on May 5.
