Lake George has gone 6-1 against Corinth recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Lakers are taking a road trip to square off against the Riverhawks at 4:30 p.m. Lake George is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

On Thursday, Lake George came up short against Granville and fell 8-4.

Granville hit Corinth with a six-run second inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Riverhawks fell 11-6 to the Golden Horde. The Riverhawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sam Tangora made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those RBI were his first of the season. Keegan Baker was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Lake George's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Corinth, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.

Lake George might still be hurting after the 13-2 loss they got from Corinth when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Lakers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
