Basketball Recap: Southeast of Saline Comes Up Short

Southeast of Saline was the 48-44 winner over Garden Plain when they last played one another back in March of 2016, but their luck changed this time around. The Southeast of Saline Trojans took a 58-41 bruising from the Garden Plain Owls on Friday.

When it comes to explaining why Southeast of Saline lost, don't look at Gannon Jacobson. Despite the final result, he posted 14 points and three steals. Jacobson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 13 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Caden Parry, who put up four points.

Southeast of Saline's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Garden Plain, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-8-1 record this season.
