Soccer Game Preview: Terra Linda vs. Marin Catholic

The Terra Linda Trojans will head out on the road to take on the Marin Catholic Wildcats at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Terra Linda is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Archie Williams just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Peregrine Falcons.

Terra Linda's goal came courtesy of Joseph Rodriguez, who's now up to two this season.

Meanwhile, Marin Catholic has been on a difficult stretch since their win on the fourth. They and Redwood finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Tuesday. That draw made it five straight for the Wildcats.

Terra Linda's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-4-1. Marin Catholic's draw gives them a new season record of 5-4-5.
