Softball Preview: Williamsport Millionaires vs. Bald Eagle Area Eagles

The Williamsport Millionaires will head out on the road to challenge the Bald Eagle Area Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Williamsport will be strutting in after a victory while Bald Eagle Area will be coming in after a loss.

On Friday, Williamsport was able to grind out a solid win over Danville, taking the game 10-7.

Sierra Albright spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on six hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't pitched less than five innings every time she's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Bald Eagle Area saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alexa Baney, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
