Basketball Game Preview: Sequim Wolves vs. Bainbridge Spartans

Sequim hasn't had much luck against Bainbridge recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Sequim Wolves will be playing at home against the Bainbridge Spartans at 5:15 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Bainbridge is hoping to do what North Mason couldn't on Tuesday: put an end to Sequim's winning streak, which now stands at four games. Sequim took their contest with ease, bagging a 76-48 victory over North Mason. 76 seems to be a good number for the Wolves as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Bainbridge, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They snuck past Port Angeles with a 71-66 victory on Tuesday.

Bainbridge's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points per game. As for Sequim, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0.

Sequim came up short against Bainbridge in their previous meeting back in January, falling 67-56. Can Sequim avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
