Basketball Recap: Howard Tech Takes a Loss

Howard Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 67-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chattanooga Central Pounders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hustlin' Tigers of the 63-58 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Howard Tech's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Chattanooga Central, their victory ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-4.

Howard Tech will take on New Life Christian Academy in a tournament on December 27th. As for Chattanooga Central, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 63-62 win against Brainerd on the 20th.
