 Dublin was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Monday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They fell victim to a  rough 10-2 loss at the hands of the Foothill Falcons. Dublin was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Foothill apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in March.
 Dublin saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Elijah McNeal, who  scored a  run while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 On Foothill's side, they got a great performance from  Caden Roth as he  struck out seven batters over  five innings while giving up just two earned runs off   four  hits. Roth has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in five consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate, Foothill let  Hudson Flora and  Take Sato-Kreis loose on the outfield. Flora  scored three  runs while going 3-for-4, while  Sato-Kreis  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Jack Fowler, who  went 3-for-3 with two  RBI.
 Dublin's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Foothill, their victory was  their fourth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 10-8.
 Dublin will  face off against Amador Valley at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Amador Valley's pitching crew has only allowed 2.5  runs per game  this season, so Dublin's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Foothill, they will head out on the road to  take on  Granada at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Both teams will come into the  game having just posted big wins, so someone is set to suffer a big change in fortunes.
