Baseball Recap: Pendleton Wins Going Away Against Manitou Springs

Pendleton got themselves on the board against Manitou Springs on Monday, but Manitou Springs never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 13-0 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Buckaroos considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

Pendleton's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Manitou Springs, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Pendleton will face off against Riverdale Ridge at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday. The Ravens will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Buckaroos surely won't give up without a fight. As for Manitou Springs, they will challenge Cleveland at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
