Volleyball Recap: East Ridge Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Breylan Fairley and Ana Andrades Villa

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact East Ridge can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Jupiter Warriors on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Knights have suffered since September 18th.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-17, 25-16.

Despite the loss, East Ridge had strong showings from Ana Andrades Villa, who had 11 digs and two aces, and Breylan Fairley, who had 22 assists. Fairley has been hot for a while, having posted 13 or more assists the last 16 times she's played.

Macy Mcamis was nothing short of spectacular for Jupiter: she had 12 digs and eight aces. That's the most aces Mcamis has posted since back in September.

This is the second loss in a row for East Ridge and nudges their season record down to 17-11. As for Jupiter, their victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-4.

East Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jupiter, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Olympia on the 25th.
