Basketball Recap: Rittman Comes Up Short

Rittman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Northwestern Huskies, falling 74-47. The Indians were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Huskies earlier this season, when they won 64-58.

Rittman's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Northwestern, their victory ended a 14-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-15.

Rittman and Northwestern could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. Rittman will face off against Indian Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday down 670 places (775 vs. 105). Meanwhile, Northwestern (ranked 781st) will meet Hillsdale (ranked 285th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
