Glades Day didn't have quite enough to beat Palm Beach Gardens on Wednesday and fell 3-2. While Glades Day didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating Palm Beach Gardens 25-17 in the first set.

Glades Day actually scored more points across those five sets (100-92), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-20, 25-22, 10-25, 15-8.

Lily Davis paced Glades Day's offense, picking up 11 kills. Davis got some help from Jensen Rimes and her 11 assists. Kristabella Flournah controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Glades Day has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season. As for Palm Beach Gardens, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-8.
