Baseball Recap: Liberty County Triumphs

Liberty County came out on top against Munroe on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive nine-run third inning. The Bulldogs never let the Bobcats get on the board and left with a 12-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-8 last Tuesday.

The win got Liberty County back to even at 2-2. As for Munroe, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Liberty County will head out to square off against North Bay Haven Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Buccaneers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.5 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Munroe, they will venture away from home to challenge Gadsden County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
