Football Game Preview: Atwater Falcons vs. Los Banos Tigers + How To Watch

The Atwater Falcons are taking a road trip to take on the Los Banos Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Atwater has given up an average of 38 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Atwater's last matchup with Merced could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Friday. The Falcons were beaten by the Bears 49-14. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Bears recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Los Banos challenged Golden Valley on Friday. The Tigers simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Cougars 34-7. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won five contests by 21 points or more so far this season.

Los Banos is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 36.4 points over those games. As for Atwater, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Atwater took their win against Los Banos when the teams last played back in November of 2024 by a conclusive 50-26 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
