Hershey had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Kimball on Tuesday. The Panthers put the hurt on the Longhorns with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Panthers not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 3, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Hershey took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-7, 25-7.

Ella Thompson had a dynamite game, getting 17 digs and three assists. That's the most assists she has posted over her last 12 matches.

Despite the loss, Kimball still got an impressive performance from Hannah Kilgore, who had 11 digs. Kilgore has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last eight times she's played.
