Soccer Recap: Mountain View's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

After low-scoring totals in their previous three match, Mountain View brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. Their defense stepped up to hand the Scranton Knights a 4-0 shutout on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for Mountain View as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Mountain View's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 3-8. As for Scranton, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.

Coming up, Mountain View is taking a road trip to challenge Holy Cross at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Scranton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Blue Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
