Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Southeastern). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Susan Moore Bulldogs an 18-0 shutout on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Mustangs needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.
Emellie Hamilton made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Hamilton was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI and one double. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high.
