Basketball Game Preview: Leetonia Bears vs. United Golden Eagles

Leetonia hasn't had much luck against United recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Leetonia Bears will head out to take on the United Golden Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Leetonia is headed into Monday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their eighth straight game dating back to last season on Monday. They were outmatched by Southern and fell 47-12.

Meanwhile, United played a tough game on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 55-32 to Beaver Local. The Golden Eagles were down 49-19 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Leetonia's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for United, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Leetonia took a serious blow against United when the teams last played back in January, falling 70-15. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Leetonia was down 53-13.
