Volleyball Recap: Century Beats Hastings for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Century waltzed into their match on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Hastings Raiders. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Raiders, too.

Century not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Hastings to exactly 16 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-16.

Laney Stellmaker paced Century's offense, picking up seven kills. Stellmaker really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with ten. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Century's win bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Hastings, their loss dropped their record down to 6-13.

Century has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against St. Louis Park on the 4th. As for Hastings, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Red Wing on the 6th.
