Volleyball Recap: Elko Indians vs. Dayton Dust Devils
Elko was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Dayton Dust Devils. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Dust Devils this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-1 loss back in September.
Elko couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Dayton a tough time in the first set. The final score came out to 30-28, 19-25, 21-25, 25-9, 15-9.
ALISI TULIMAFUA-CURRAN was nothing short of spectacular for Dayton: she had 14 digs and two aces. With that strong performance, TULIMAFUA-CURRAN is now averaging an impressive 12.5 assists per game.
