Volleyball Recap: Pike Takes a Loss

Pike lost against Harrison back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Red Devils took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-11.

Firroune Ouangueye paced Pike's offense, picking up six kills. Ouangueye got some help from PP Moo and his seven assists.

Pike has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for Harrison, their win was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-5.

Pike didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Park Tudor on the 5th. As for Harrison, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Indianapolis Bishop Chatard on the 8th.
