Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask University City). They blew past the Madison Warhawks 14-1 on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Centurions in their matchups with the Warhawks: they've now won nine in a row.
Melia Galvan made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high.
