Basketball Recap: Little Chute Comes Up Short

Little Chute entered their game against Freedom on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Little Chute Mustangs received a blow as they fell 59-45 to the Freedom Irish. The match marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Little Chute's defeat dropped their record down to 15-4. As for Freedom, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-1.

Coming up, Little Chute will square off against Waupaca at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Waupaca will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Little Chute surely won't give up without a fight. As for Freedom, they have already played their next game, an 89-45 win against Clintonville on the 11th.
