Soccer Recap: Riverdale's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Riverdale proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by four) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Ada Bulldogs 2-1. This was a revenge game for Riverdale: when they faced off against Ada back in September, they had to take a 4-1 loss.

Cameron Snook was the driving force of Riverdale's attack as he scored both of Riverdale's goals, bringing his season total up to 26 goals.

The win was the third in a row for Riverdale, bringing their record up to 6-13. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those three contests. As for Ada, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 11-5-2 record.

Coming up, Riverdale will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Fort Jennings at 7:00 p.m. Ada does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
