Bishop Lynch's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Prestonwood Christian Lions a 6-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Friars, who have now won seven matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Bishop Lynch's victory bumped their record up to 8-1-1. As for Prestonwood Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop Lynch will venture away from home to take on Legacy Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Prestonwood Christian, they will head out to challenge Ursuline Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
