Softball Recap: Lakes Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Lakes's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Central Kitsap Cougars on Monday.

Lakes saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Savanna Newville, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Lakes' loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Central Kitsap, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Coming up, Lakes will challenge Bellarmine Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be Bellarmine Prep's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Central Kitsap, they will square off against Lincoln at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup will also give Lincoln their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
