Harper proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 15) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Junction Eagles, sneaking past 7-6. The Longhorns haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Harper's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Junction, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.

Coincidentally, Harper and Junction will both be playing Goldthwaite the next time they take the field. The Longhorns will host the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Eagles will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on the 14th.
